I purchased this pillow to replace lost Sona-Pillow.
This pillow comes with pillow case and also regular pillow case will fit. Sona-Pillow didn’t come with pillow case and cost in addition to pillow itself.
It is smaller than Sona-Pillow. Sona-Pillow was bigger and it may take a lot of space on the bed.
However, I purchased Sona-Pillow again. This new anti-snore pillow didn’t do its job for me.
Side sleeping is difficult because no space to put arm under pillow. Still my ear harts with ear cup which supposed to make space for ear.
I tried to review on Brookstone website. I wrote review twice for this product at Brookstone but not showing up on their site.

I had purchased this pillow to replace the sona anti-snore pillow for my husband. It was horrible. Didn’t work at all. I lasted all of a half an hour before I had to give him his old pillow back. Brookstone refuses to refund the item because it’s considered a “personal item”. Their customer service said I couldn’t contact the manufacturer for a refund because it was made in China, recommended I try to sell it on Ebay as a solution. It’s almost like an internet scam. Please don’t fall for it like I did.

i was really scared to shell out a $100 Dollars for this pillow at the begining but i can tell you that it really works and money well invested.. it works great for snoring and even just as a regular pillow. i would have given it a 5 star if you had room to put your arms under it otherwise i’m a happy customer.

After two months of using this pillow the results are the same as a regular pillow. I still snore whether on my back or side. I was desparate to buy something to alleviate the snoring, but this was not the solution. Sorry I wasted $[...] bucks. And it takes up a lot of real estate on the bed.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. At the store they specifically told me it was a “personal item” but I could try it as long as I kept the plastic on it. As I took it out of the box, the plastic ripped so that option was out.
As soon as we took it out, we noticed a very strong chemical smell. It was not usable. We took the case off and washed it twice and the smell did not go away. I called customer service as was told that they package the pillows too soon and that leaves the smell. They told me to roll the pillow up tightly and then unroll it and the smell would go away in 24 hours. Two days later, the smell was still there so I called customer service and repeated my concerns. I was told there was nothing they could do about it since it is a “personal item”. So now I’m out a hundred dollars for a pillow that can not be in the same room as me because it smells so bad it makes my head hurt. We will never shop at Brookstone again and my credit card company has started an inquiry.

I bought the anti-snore pillow from Brookstone last week and the chemical smell is terrible. I’ve been trying to air it out but am also concerned that it’s going to cause cancer or something! Product is not usable unless the smell goes away. It did stop my snoring for the night I used it but I’m afraid of the consequences!

I purchased this pillow from Brookstone and discovered that it has a very strong chemical odor that I can’t seem to get rid of. It’s almost like a mildew type of smell. I refuse to use it and will probably end up throwing it out. I called customer service and was told it is a personal item so can’t be returned. So here I am..[...] out of pocket and no pillow or satisfactory resolution from the company. Nice scam.

I don’t snore, but sometimes do have trouble with congestion, a stiff neck/shoulder, and not feeling rested in the morning when I don’t use a supportive pillow and good mattress.
I bought this as a replacement for my no-longer-available Sealy Posturepedic pillow (http://www.amazon.com/Sealy-Posturepedic-Reduction-Memory-Pillow/dp/B0000CEVOK).
The Brookstone pillow is larger, firmer and higher than my Sealy pillow, but has the same ear wells, neck dip and basic design. The Brookstone pillow did need to be aired out initially, and was fine after an hour or two. The Brookstone pillow has a set of adjustable (& removable) inserts to customize neck support. As expected, I did have a bit of soreness for a day or two as my body adjusted to the new pillow but overall, it was a smooth transition. While I still use my Sealy pillow occasionally, I like the Brookstone pillow about as much as my Sealy pillow after having the Brookstone pillow for about a week.
I would be more enthusiastic about the Brookstone pillow if my experience with my Sealy pillow hadn’t been quite as good. The Sealy pillow cost $40 and lasted 5+ years without a problem; the Brookstone pillow is $100 with an unknown lifespan. I feel that I got a much better value with my Sealy pillow, but only so-so value with the Brookstone one, even if it does last me for the next 5 years.

Comfort;
This pillow is just as comfortable as a Tempurpedic as a back sleeper and I love it. As the ad claims, it is good for both back and side sleepers. I have generally been a back sleeper because most pillows are too small (I’m tall) to align my head and spine properly. However, with this pillow, I do sleep on my side more. Just to note; It is a large pillow and I am 6’5″ with a relatively long neck. It might not be comfortable for smaller folks. Perhaps this is why the reviews haven’t been stellar. For me it’s perfect!
Snoring;
Per my girlfriend, it hasn’t eliminated my snoring. However, Brookstone doesn’t claim to eliminate it, only that it reduces it and it has indeed reduced my snoring.
Smell;
The chemical smell does go away. Just pull the covers off and air it outside during the day for a couple of days.
If you’re a taller person, I highly recommend this pillow!
